Electronic-funk artist GRiZ had a smashing performance headlining at Riverbend Music Center. GRiZ performed with electronic dance special guests The Funk Hunters.

GRiZ kicked off the performance with his chart-topping single “Good Times Roll” a jazzy, upbeat banger, with Big Gigantic joining him on stage. The energy was high as GRiZ shredded his sax solo, jumping around the stage and making the crowd get on their feet. He slowed things down a bit with “Rather Be Free” featuring Muzzy Bear who provided a killer performance.

Most came for the music, but for those new to GRiZ, the magnetizing visuals kept the crowd memorized. From colorful lasers creating remarkable three-dimensional shapes and objects to the striking projections on stage, GRiZ created an intricate visual show that captured his music’s sound and energy.

GRiZ’s latest full-length album, “Ride Waves” featured a variety of artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dog, DRAM, and Bootsy Collins. A self-reflection album about the “emotional roller coaster” of life, this new album provides hip-hop, funk, dance feel while still keeping true to GRiZ’s original sound.

Check out GRiZ’s latest EP, Bangers[3].ZIP, and be sure to stay tuned for new music coming soon.
